Digital media creative based in Michigan.
I work across photography, graphic design, and videography — helping brands and individuals tell visual stories that actually feel like them.
I'm Ty Klopf, a digital media creator based in Midland, Michigan, working across photography, graphic design, and videography. Most of my work lives at the intersection of sports and storytelling, capturing the moments that fans, families, and athletes want to remember long after the final whistle.
I grew up in Coleman, Michigan, a rural town of 2,000 where opportunities in sports media didn't really exist. I picked up the craft in 2020 by launching a social media presence for my high school's athletic program during COVID, teaching myself exposure, composition, and color along the way. Since then, I've earned my BBA in Sports Marketing from Northwood University, produced content for Northwood Athletics that reached an average of 500,000+ people each month, contributed to the Midland Daily News (including the 2025 Dow Championship on the LPGA Tour), served as a team photographer for the Great Lakes Loons (High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers), and freelanced for the OHL's Saginaw Spirit. This fall, I'm joining Central Michigan football's creative team as a graduate assistant.
Whether it's a championship moment, a brand identity, or a video edit, my goal is the same: create work that feels intentional, polished, and worth holding onto. Take a look around, and if you've got a project in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
